The City of San Diego has a wonderful thriving LGBT population. The once conservative city is now known for its laid back, friendly style and multiple opportunities for having fun! The focus of the LGBT community is a group of neighborhoods just north of downtown. Hillcrest, the traditional LGBT heart of San Diego, is now joined by the neighborhoods of North Park, Mission Hills, University Heights, and Bankers Hill- giving the LGBT tourist many choices for Fine Dining, Entertainment and Nightlife.
San Diego is also host to the second largest LGBT Chamber of Commerce in the country. The GSDBA has more than 800 members who want to serve the LGBT community.
